The rally, attended by dozens of people, started with a minute's silence in memory of the Kurdistan Freedom Martyrs, accompanied by the Kurdish national anthem Ey Reqîp.
Then, a statement was made in German on behalf of the Defend Kurdistan Initiative, and speeches were made by politician Tuğba Hezer and representatives of the Aachen Kurdish People's Assembly.
