Activists in Berlin: Our resistance will continue

Hunger strikers in Berlin Cemal Kobane, Omer Bagdur, Mele Mustafa Tuzak and Siyar Xelil said, “Our resistance will continue until the isolation is ended completely.”

The hunger strikes in Berlin demanding an end to the isolation imposed upon Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan continue with 4 Kurdish activists.

The hunger strike continues in the NAV-DEM offices in Berlin as Mele Mustafa Tuzak is on day 115 of his hunger strike, Siyar Xelil on day 102 and Cemal Kobane and Omer Bagdur on day 99.

The activists said the meeting Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan had with his lawyers after 8 years is a positive development but it doesn’t mean that the isolation is completely lifted.
The four hunger strike activists said they support the declaration by prisoners on Monday and added: “Our resistance will continue until the isolation is completely over.”

The activists shared with their visitors their reasons for continuing the protest and said they are determined in their resistance.

A group of revolutionaries from Southern Kurdistan were the most recent visitors to the Berlin hunger strikers, and they said they support the demands fully. The visitors said, “Your stance is a source of pride for us.”
