The activists used yellow, red and green smoke to symbolize the colours of Kurdistan.
The activists said: "During the action we shouted 'dalle montagne curde alle nostre città, donna, vita, libertà", which means 'from Kurdish mountains to our cities, women, life, freedom'. We support democratic confederalism and the Kurdish revolution, so we are trying to spread the voice about the current situation."
