Activists in Europe protest Turkish attacks on women

Demonstrations in many European cities condemned attacks on women's institutions.

Political genocide police operations carried out in Amed on Friday against women's institutions were protested in several cities in Europe.

OSNABRÜCK

A protest against the new attacks carried out by the AKP against women was organised in Osnabrück. The actions was attended by 80 people.

HEILBORNN

The attack on the region of Zinî Wertê carried out by the Turkish state was protested in Kiliansplatz in Heilbornn.

Activists also protested the seizure of the HDP-run municipalities and the police operation against women's institutions in Amed.

KIEL

The isolation imposed on Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan was protested in Kiel.

The action was held at Asmus Bremerplatz and activists also condemned the seizure of the HDP-run municipalities.

Activists also condemned the attacks on graveyards and guerrillas' graves.

SALZGITTER / LEBESTEDT

Activists in Salzgitter / Lebestedt also organised an action to condemn the Turkish state attacks, the seizure of the HDP-run municipalities and violence against women.

The action was organized by Berçem Cîlo Women's Council and Democratic Kurdish Community Center.

VILLIERS-LE-BEL

In the Villiers-le-Bel suburb of Paris, the local Women's Initiative protested the Amed-based political genocide operation.

The action took place in front of the Villiers-le-Bel Train Station and was supported by the Socialist Women's Union.

Activists staged a silent action to protest the attack against the Rosa Women's Association and the detention of women politicians and activists in Amed on Friday.
