Activists in Germany protest Turkish attacks on Rojava

In many cities in Germany, activists protested against the Turkish attacks on Rojava and the silence of the international community regarding the war crimes of the Erdoğan regime.

In many cities in Germany, activists protested against the Turkish attacks on Rojava and the silence of the international community regarding the war crimes of the Erdoğan regime.

As the Turkish attacks on the autonomous region of Northern and Eastern Syria continue, protests against the war crimes of the Erdoğan regime and the silence of the international community are becoming increasingly widespread.

On Saturday, protests took place in Heilbronn, Marburg, Hamburg, Munich, Bremen, Erfurt, Hanover and Oberhausen.

Heilbronn

The Democratic Kurdish Social Center called for a demonstration in Heilbronn. At the end of the rally, candles were lit in memory of the martyrs.

In speeches, the protesters condemned the silence of the USA and European countries regarding Turkish war crimes in northern and eastern Syria.

Marburg
Activists also gathered in Marburg to protest against the Turkish attacks.

After a minute's silence to commemorate the martyrs of the Kurdish struggle for freedom, a speech called for Rojava not to be left alone.

Munich
A rally took place in Munich calling on the international community to take action against Turkish war crimes.

Bremen
In Bremen, activists marched through the streets of the city center chanting slogans such as “Solidarity with Rojava” and “Stop the Turkish war of aggression on South Kurdistan and Rojava”. 

Oberhausen
The Democratic Social Center Duisburg, together with the Party of Democratic Unity (PYD) in Oberhausen, called for a protest at the train station.

The police tried to prevent the action and disperse the activists. Thanks to the determination of the participants, the rally was able to go ahead.

Erfurt
A demonstration took place in Erfurt. The police and the city's authorities tried to put obstacles in the way of the demonstration from the start.

The display of flags of the defense forces of Northern and Eastern Syria, the YPG and YPJ, was expressly prohibited.
