A rally was held in Hamburg to condemn the attack carried out by the Turkish state on Jin TV employees on the road between Qamişlo and Amude last Thursday.
Posters of Jin TV employee Necmeddin Feysel Heci, who was killed in the attack carried out by a drone, and a banner reading "Invading Turkish army, get your hands off Kurdistan" were carried at the rally organized by the Hamburg Rojbin Women's Assembly and Defend Rojava components.
Leyla Kaya, representative of Rojbin Women's Assembly, said that the attack on press workers is a crime against humanity. "Turkey cannot end our struggle by killing us," said Kaya, adding that the Kurds are a people who love freedom, and will never stop fighting for freedom.
Speaking on behalf of Defend Kurdistan, women's rights activist Anja Flach said that the Turkish state aims at destroying all the achievements of the Kurdish people, especially in Rojava, and that today the KDP is trying to create the ground for an inter-Kurdish war.
Stating that the attack against Jin TV was also a vile attack against the women's freedom struggle, Flach pointed out that the western states that supported the fascist Erdoğan and remained silent in the face of these massacres are at least as guilty as those who committed this massacre.
