Activists in Leipzig protest Turkish state attacks on Rojava

The attacks carried out by the Turkish state and the hypocritical policies of the international community were condemned by activists in Leipzig.

Hundreds of Kurds and their friends protested the Turkish state's invasion attacks on Northern and Eastern Syria in Leipzig.

The march organized by Rojava Soli Bündnis started with a minute’s silence in memory of the Kurdistan Revolution martyrs.

Messages from Kongra Star and Kon-Med were read at the rally to condemn the attacks. Activists said that the Turkish state carried out civilian massacres in the air strikes launched in the areas under the Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria. The statements also underlined that Turkey hit the infrastructure, thus targeting the basic needs of people. Activists said that "in Rojava, the Kurds achieved gains by paying heavy prices. The massacre of Kurds continues and is aimed at depopulating the region and changing the demographic structure. We  condemn the hypocritical policies of European states and the international community who remain silent about these massacres."
