A stand was opened in Nicosia to protest the seizure of the HDP-run metropolitan municipalities of Amed, Mardin and Van. Co-mayors of the three cities were dismissed and the State appointed trustees on 19 August.

Dozens joined the action which meant to raise awareness about what is happening in Turkey and Kurdistan. 

A delegation of activists held a meeting with the President of the Cyprus Parliament and handed him a dossier. The leaflets distributed by the activists were read in radio programs.
