Activists in Sydney salute the Rojava Revolution on its 12th anniversary

A celebration was held in Sydney on the 12th anniversary of the Rojava Revolution. Timur Tatvan, Co-Chair of DKTM, emphasised that they will defend the values created with the blood of thousands of martyrs.

An event was organised at the Democratic Kurdish Community Centre (DKTM) in Sydney, Australia to mark the 12th anniversary of the Rojava Revolution.

Speaking at the event, DKTM Co-chair Timur Tatvan said that the Rojava Revolution, a work of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan, already has a very important place in the history of revolutions in the world. Vowing that they will protect and protect the values of the revolution created with the blood of thousands of martyrs at all costs, DKTM Co-chair Tatvan continued: "The colonialist occupying Turkish state, together with the collaborator treacherous KDP, wants to condemn the Kurdish people to slavery for another hundred years by destroying all the gains of the Kurdish people, especially the Rojava Revolution. The way to end the occupation in Kurdistan is to neutralise the KDP betrayal in the person of the Barzani Family. Without defeating the betrayal in Kurdistan, the enemy occupation cannot be ended. Therefore, the path to victory against colonialism passes through the elimination of betrayal."

The celebration ended with Kurdish dancing after a screening of the evaluations of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan and a slide show on the Rojava Revolution.
