The Turkish state was protested in Vienna for its mishandling of the earthquake.
The European Democratic Power Union (ADGB) and Kurdish political parties marched in Vienna to protest the mishandling of the earthquake and its victims by the Turkish government. After the two earthquakes experienced in Kurdistan and Turkey on 6 February, the Turkish government literally left people to die.
The protest, which brought together about 300 people, started with a minute’s silence for the people who lost their births in the earthquakes.
A joint statement prepared by the ADGB and Kurdish political parties was read at the protest.
Speakers said: "This is not a natural disaster; this is a state massacre." During the march, slogans such as "Shoulder to shoulder against fascism" and "Erdogan is a murderer and a fascist" were chanted.
