Activists Nasır Yağız and Fadile Tok remain in hospital

After the call by Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan,  all hunger strikers called off their fast.

HDP member Nasır Yağız and Ishtar Council member Fadile Tok were taken to Hewlêr University Hospital for health checks.

Tok and Yağız remain in hospital today while doctors are both monitoring their progress and assessing the best treatment to allow the activists' bodies to slowly go back to their normal functioning.

Doctors said that the two activists will be monitored for 24 hour.

Fadile Tok was brought to Hewlêr and began treatment in the same hospital where Yağız is being treated.

Yağız was on hunger strike for 187 days and Tok for 127 days.

Nasir Yagiz and Fadile Tok had experienced health problems in the past weeks, while fasting.
