Activists throughout Europe protest Turkish attacks

The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish state against the Medya Defense Areas, Shengal and Maxmur Refugee Camp were protested in Europe.

Protests against the Turkish attacks in South Kurdistan were organised throughout Europe.

ATHENS

Anarchist, leftist, socialist groups, as well as thousands of Kurds joined the march organized by the Kurdistan Cultural Center and Revolutionary Youth Movement.

Greek statements about the Turkish occupation attacks were distributed during the march, while the people passing by supported the march with applause and whistles.

A final statement in Greek was read in front of the Turkish consulate, where heavy security measures were in place. Speaking on behalf of the Kurdistan Cultural Center, Şerzan Amed said that the “Turkish state was trying to hide the weakness with barbaric attacks against the Kurdish people. We will defeat fascism with our resistance.”

NUREMBERG

The attacks carried out by the Turkish state against Medya Defense Areas, Shengal and Maxmur Refugee Camp were protested in Nuremberg, Germany.

Kurds and their friends joined the action organized by the Nuremberg Media Public House at Jakobplatz chanting slogans such as "Bijî berxwedana Maxmur", "Terrorist Erdogan".

KASSEL

The attacks of the Turkish state were also protested in Kassel, Germany.

The action, organized by Navenda Civaka Kurd, was held at Königplatz.

A banner said "Erdogan bombed the Kurds in Kurdistan with warplanes while the whole world is fighting with coronavirus."

Cooperation between the Turkish and German states was also protested.

MARSEILLE

Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger activists in Marseille condemned the Turkish state's attacks against South Kurdistan with a march and rally.

Young people gathered in Vieux Port square and marched to Jouliet Square.

STRASBOURG

The attacks of the Turkish state were also protested in Strasbourg, France. The action organized by the TCŞ and JCA activists took place in front of the city's train station.

MILAN

The attacks by the Turkish state were protested in Milan, Italy in an action held in front of the Turkish consulate.

The protesters wrote “Murderer Erdoğan” on the floor in front of the consulate and hung the PKK flag on the door.
