Activists to protest Erdogan's ministers visit to Berlin

Turkish Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu and Culture and Tourism Minister Ersoy, will be in Berlin to hold talks with German government forces. Activists are getting ready to receive them.

The Turkish minister are going to Berlin in an attempt to convince the German government to lift the warning on flying to Turkey because of the coronavirus outbreak.

The Turkish delegation, which includes Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, will meet with German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas and Economy Minister Peter Altmaier.

Activists are preparing to ‘welcome’ the Turkish ministers. An action was announced in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building in "Werderscher Markt 1, 10117 Berlin" at 12 pm on Thursday.

The protest rally is promoted by the Riseup4Rojava campaign. The demo has been organised with the slogan "Don't lay the red carpet to fascism".

Activists will protest the commercial relations between Germany and Turkey which includes arms sales.
