GERMANY – COLOGNE

Upon the initiative of the youth’s movement, Ciwanên Azad, an information stand was set up in midday at the Bahnhofvorplatz Square where the activists read out statements, distributed leaflets, and provided passers-by that visited the stand with detailed information on the current situation of the Kurdish people's leader.

Ciwanên Azad organised a march for tomorrow to demand freedom for the Kurdish leader, which will be attended by Kurdistan people and their friends living in Cologne, Dusseldorf and Bonn, set to start at 13.00 at Bahnhofvorplatz Square.

GERMANY - DARMSTADT

Kurdish people living in German city Darmstadt set up an information stand at Luisenplatz Square, informed the interested visitors and distributed leaflets on the isolation of Öcalan. The activists called on the European public to act for the freedom of Öcalan.

After the activity ended at 19.00, an envoy of the activists visited German officials and handed a file over to them. A meeting is expected to be held on 12 August in the center of the city.

FRANCE – STRASBOURG

Erdal Welat Youths Council members set up an information stand in French city of Strasbourg to inform the public on the aggravated isolation on Öcalan.

From 13.00 to 17.00, the Kurdish youths distributed leaflets to the people and provided them with information on the situation of the Kurdish leader. The activity will continue tomorrow at the same time, and everyone has been called on to participate.
