Air strikes kill 22 civilians in a village of Deir Ezzor

Strikes by unidentified aircraft hit the al-Hajna village to the east of Deir Ezzor, killing 22 civilians who include 10 children.

Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that a massacre was carried out by unidentified warplanes that bombed the al-Hajna village near al-Busayrah town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

According to SOHR, the casualties are from two families.

The first family is displaced from Shaddadi area. 12 people including a man, his wife and eight children- 5 of whom are under the age of eighteen- were all killed.

The second family had 10 members including a man, a woman and 5 children under the age of 18.

SOHR noted that the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people with wounds who are in critical situation.
