The Labour and Freedom Alliance - Berlin called for participation in the meeting to be held tomorrow, Sunday. The meeting will discuss how to organize before the 14 May elections. The meeting will be held at 2pm in the Dersim Community in Berlin. The Labour and Freedom Alliance emphasized the importance of acting together, saying that "the people of Turkey no longer have the patience to endure this administration for one more day".
The statement said: “As you know, the 14 May 2023 elections will be one of the most important turning points in the history of the republic. We have seen all together what the one-man regime through which the AKP-MHP government has run the country has cost people. The one-man regime, in which the separation of powers was abolished and where one man decided everything by himself, finally caused the death of tens of thousands of people in the ancient cities of our country, following the earthquake on 6 February. These people died while waiting for help under the rubble.”
The statement continued: “Corruption, lawlessness and persistence in the policies of war became the pillars of this regime. While the people are getting poorer, and even the most basic human needs are considered a luxury, the government has created its own new riches. Hundreds of thousands of people were put in prisons, tens of thousands of them were forced to leave their country, because of oppression that hit different segments of society. The courts came under the command of a one-man dictatorship. The people have completely lost their trust in law. Society was polarized, even the neighbours stopped greeting each other in the morning, and the government declared all those who disagree with it terrorists.”
The statement added: “The hopes, dreams and future plans of young people were shattered and thousands of them were forced to look for their future abroad. They confiscated our fields, trees, water, air, nature and shared them with their plundering partners.
The people of Turkey no longer have the patience to endure this administration one more day."
