Ambush against Hashd al-Shaabi between Mosul and Maxmur: 6 dead
6 fighters were killed in an ambush against the Shia Hashd al-Shaabi forces in southern Mosul in northern Iraq.
Hashd al Shaabi Communications Service issued a statement and announced that unidentified armed persons attacked a Hashd al-Shaabi unit’s convoy on Wednesday evening. The convoy included unarmed militia members who were preparing for deployment.
The statement said 6 fighters were killed and 31 were wounded, and that the wounded were taken to the Kayyara hospital.
The attack took place along the road from Mosul to Maxmur.
