Diyarbakır Governor's Office announced that 6 people have been taken into custody in connection with the contra attacks going on since today afternoon. The Governor's Office stated that a number of guns and bullets have been seized alongside the detainees.

The statement by the Governor's Office said that; "A total of 6 people have been detained in connection with the armed incidents in our city. Alongside the detainees, 4 kalashnikov rifles, 8 chargers, 1 Uzi submachine gun and 2 chargers of it, 4 shotguns and many cartridges, 1 pump rifle, 1 Glock rifle, 5 cases of 9 mm bullets, a large number of shotgun shells, 5 sticks and 1 binoculars have been seized."

The Governor's Office stated that the number of the dead has risen to 4, adding that a total of 6 people, including 3 press members and 1 hospital employee, have been wounded in the incidents.
