Antep Governor backs ISIS member who blew himself up
Antep Governor Ali Yerlikaya backed ISIS member Mehmet Kadir Cebael and said that he "blew himself up in a construction site so that the neighbors do not get harmed."
Antep Governor Ali Yerlikaya made a scandalous statement on yesterday’s operation against ISIS.
Yerlikaya said "police officers identified the location and went there regarding a bomb. He [Mehmet Kadir Cabael] blew himself up in a construction site so that the neighbors do not get harmed."
3 police officers and 8 civilians had gotten injured during yesterday’s operation.
Mehmet Kadir Cabael, who blew himself up, turned out to be one of the perpetrators of Ankara massacre. Cebael was listed as the 12th suspect in the documents of the case on Ankara massacre, and he was an ISIS administrator.
In a statement on May 27, 2016, Governor Yerlikaya had first addressed an ISIS member as "Mr. Hacı Ali Durmaz" and later corrected himself and said "Terrorist Hacı Ali Durmaz".
