ARCDEM (American Rojava Centre for Democracy) is organizing a protest in front of the Embassy of Turkey in Washington today to demand the end of the Turkish bombing of Rojava.

In a statement ARCDEM said: "Erdogan has ordered attacks throughout north and east Syria, northern Iraq and Kurdistan, killing dozens, including civilians and destroying vital infrastructure like the hospital in Kobanê treating COVID-19. Protest Turkey’s continued aggression in Syria in the Rojava region: Kobanê, Şehba, Dêrik/Al-Malikiyah, Tel Rifaat and Zirgan; and in Iraq in the Kurdistan region: Shengal/Sinjar, Duhok and Sulaymaniyah. This escalation could lead to a larger invasion such as those seen in 2018 and 2019. Turkey’s attacks on the Syrian Democratic Forces are attacks on the heroes who defeated ISIS. These attacks are part of Turkey’s violent repression of Kurds, Yazidis, Syriacs, Christians and Arabs throughout the region."
