Attacks on HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) offices are increasing before the upcoming elections to take place in Turkey and North Kurdistan on 7 June.

HDP's election office in Altınova district of Yalova was also targeted by an armed attack last night.

The attack by unidentified assailants luckily caused no casualties as there was nobody inside the office at the time of the incident. 4 bullets hit the window glass of the office.

HDP executives and HDP Yalova MP candidates Nizamettin Öztürk and Aynur Erbay who went to the scene early in the morning had talks with police officials who wrote a minute about the incident at the scene.

Despite the attack, the official opening of the election office will reportedly be held today.
