Armed attack targets HDP headquarters in Ankara

The headquarters of the HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) has been targeted by an armed attack last night.
Unknown assailants opened fire on the HDP headquarters on Büklüm Street in Ankara's Çankaya district with pump rifles after coming to the scene in a car at around 4 am at night.
The assailants managed to flee after the attack which was carried out while party officials were inside the office. It is reported on that a police officer on guard in front of the building responded to the gunshots.
Police teams have started an investigation at the scene of the armed attack which luckily didn't result in casualties.
The attack was first informed by HDP Ankara candidate and İmralı Delegation Spokesman Sırrı Süreyya Önder who wrote on his Twitter account early morning that; “An armed attack has targeted our headquarters towards morning. The provocation continues. We will never give up.”
