Assad: ISIS and Erdoğan uphold the same “terrorist doctrine”

Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad told Belarus’ ONT News Agency that ISIS, Jabhat Al-Nusra and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan all uphold the same “terrorist doctrine”.

The Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad told Belarus’ ONT News Agency that the Islamic State (ISIS), Jabhat Al-Nusra and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan all uphold the same “terrorist doctrine.”

“In fact, we cannot separate all these groups. ISIS and al-Nusra have the same Wahhabi ideology and the same terrorist doctrine. ISIS, al-Nusra, and Erdogan – who is affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood – Al Saud, and Al Thani in Qatar uphold the same doctrine,” the Syrian President told ONT News Agency.

“All these groups have something in common which is the extremist Wahhabi ideology. And all of them are instruments in the hands of the United States,” Assad added.
