At least 1107 people have been taken into custody in the days of resistance which begun in Taksim (Istanbul) over a week ago.

Many cities in Turkey joined the protest by organizing demonstrations and actions. A part from Istanbul many protests have been going on in Ankara, Adana, Antalya, İzmir.

In Ankara over 500 have been taken into custody, while in Istanbul the detained people are at least 409.
