At least 15 killed in twin blasts in Idlib - UPDATED

Idlib city was shaken by twin blasts in Monday.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, two blasts occurred in the Syrian city of Idlib on Monday.

While the cause of the blasts was not immediately clear, reports suggest that at least 15 people died and more than 30 others were wounded.

Idlib city is under the control of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), founded by Al-Qaeda’s former Syrian wing Al-Nusra and backed by the Turkish regime.

In addition to some armed mercenary groups directly supported by Ankara, there are also sleeper cells of the ISIS in the region.
