At least 23 Syrian soldiers killed in an attack by ISIS gangs on a bus

At least 23 soldiers were killed in an attack by ISIS gangs on a bus carrying soldiers belonging to the Damascus army.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that a bus belonging to the Damascus army in the Deir ez-Zor region was targeted by ISIS mercenaries in a desert area on Thursday evening.

The Observatory said that at least 23 soldiers were killed and 10 were injured in the attack, and added that dozens of soldiers were missing.

This attack has been the third major attack by ISIS gangs against the Damascus army since the beginning of August.

Last Monday, 10 soldiers were killed in the Raqqa region, and on 1 August, 7 people, 5 of whom soldiers, were killed in a desert area in the center of the country.
