A delegation from the Autonomous Administration discussed the situation of ISIS mercenaries and the ongoing invasion attacks by the Turkish state with members of the Austrian Parliament.

Bedran Çiya Kurd, co-chair of the Autonomous Administration Foreign Relations Department, and Ebdulkerim Omer, the Autonomous Administration Europe Representative, met with Austrian Parliament Member Harald Troch, Local Parliament Member Cebir Haco and Socialist Democratic Party representatives at the Austrian Parliament.

Evaluating the general situation in Syria and Northern and Eastern Syria, the delegations exchanged views on the political, economic and humanitarian situation facing the region. In addition, the situation of ISIS mercenaries in camps and prisons was also discussed.

Austria was asked to do its part against the threats and attacks carried out by the Turkish state against Northern and Eastern Syria.

Stating that the Syrian crisis should be resolved within the framework of UN Resolution 2254, the Rojava delegation said that all Syrian peoples should be addressed as part of the solution.

The Austrian MPs thanked the delegation for the sacrifices made by the Kurdish people against terrorism and emphasized that they would continue to closely follow the developments in the region.
