Autonomous Administration holds diplomatic talks in Denmark

The European and Danish representatives of the Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria met with the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Danish parliament,

The European representative of the Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria, Abdulkerim Omer, and the Danish representatives Dara Mustafa and Alan Mansur visited the Danish Parliament and met with the Foreign Affairs Committee.

The delegation discussed political and security developments in Syria, the national dialogue processes since the collapse of the Baath regime, and the constitutional work.

In addition, the Turkish state’s attacks on Northern and Eastern Syria and the forced relocation of the people of Afrin from Shehba to the regions east of the Euphrates were also on the agenda.

The difficulties in implementing the agreement signed between the SDF General Commander Mazloum Abdi and the representative of the interim Damascus administration, Ahmed al-Sharaa, were discussed, as were the increasing attacks by ISIS and the joint operations of the international coalition and the SDF. 

At the end of the meeting, the Autonomous Administration delegation emphasized the role of Denmark and the EU in ensuring peace and stability in Syria and answered the parliamentarians’ questions about the crisis.
