In a statement about the political genocide operations targeting the HDP, AvEG-KON (European Confederation of Oppressed Immigrants) said: "We condemn the political genocide attacks targeting the HDP and call on all democracy and freedom forces to fight against these attacks."

AvEG-KON said in the written statement: “Thousands of members of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), starting from co-chairs Figen Yüksekdağ and Selahattin Demirtaş, have been arrested since the party was established and subjected to the repression of the government.

The regime has launched a new attack against 82 HDP members on September 25, to take revenge over the victory in Kobanê six years ago.”
