Aydar: We will be able to prevent massacres only if we unite!

"The enemies of the Kurds are forging plans against our people. The Iranian regime is murdering Kurds. This slaughtering can be brought to an end with our unity" Zubeyr Aydar, member of KNK’s Executive Council says.

Efforts towards Kurdish national unity have gained momentum since Kurdish National Unity Conference workshops organized by the Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) in Sulaymaniyah in July. The next workshop will next be launched for East Kurdistan (Rojhilat) in Stockholm.

Member of the KNK assembly Zubeyir Aydar spoke about the efforts for the workshops that will be attended by 25 parties and 200 participants.

"WE NEED TO IMPLEMENT HISTORIC OPPORTUNITIES"

KNK member Zubeyir Aydar stated that there is a need for unity for Kurdish people and said: "We, as the people are in a critical period. There are huge opportunities, but grave dangers as well. The enemies of the Kurds are forging plans against us. For this reason, Kurds need to unite. It is an enormous lack that we are not capable of come all together."

Aydar continued: "We carried out a series of workshops with the participation of many political parties and personalities last July in Sulaymaniyah. Back then the decision was given to hold various workshops for the national unity, and carry out at the end a big overall workshop and found a committee. Right now we are working for it."

Aydar stated that before that the workshop for East Kurdistan will be organized and said: "Between the 16-17th September there will be a workshop in Sweden concerning East Kurdistan. The efforts for the workshops on South, North and West Kurdistan are also still continuing. The workshops in Europe will take place on the 13th October. A workshop like these is being organised in Russia as well.

A delegation attended also by the KNK Co-chairs and representatives of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK or YNK) paid in South Kurdistan, France, the Netherlands, Sweden and Norway a visit to many parties and organizations like the Komala, PDKI and the Komala Şoreşgerî Zehmetkêşanê Kurdistanê. Aside from this, 25 parties and 200 personalities have been invited as well. We hope that this workshop will benefit Eastern Kurdistan."

"I CALL ON THE PEOPLE KURDISTAN'S TO SUPPORT BANÊ"

KNK council member Zubeyir Aydar stated that the Iranian regime is carrying out massacres against the Kurdish people that can only be stopped with a struggle and said: "During such a current process holding the Eastern Kurdistan workshop is of great importance. The Iranian regime is preventing our people in East Kurdistan to use their democratic rights and is slaughtering our people. This situation is unacceptable. Our people are protesting in Banê against those killings. We salute the resisting people of Banê. I call on the people of Kurdistan to support Banê. We can prevent those killings with our unity. Therefore it will be vital for us to come all together and make some resolutions."
