Former HDP Amed MP Nursel Aydoğan said that the 14 May election will be one of the most important elections in the history of democracy in the country and added: "The 14 May election will be the election that will save the people of Turkey and all the people oppressed by the AKP, MHP government."

Aydoğan continued: "The HDP, which supports the Green and Left party, thinks that this election will determine the future of the peoples of Turkey. On 14 May, all the peoples of Turkey and the Kurdish people, the oppressed, those with different beliefs and cultures, will make a choice about what kind of Turkey they want to live in. Are we going to wake up to a hopeful Turkey, in a new Turkey where the doors of democracy will open after 14 May? Or will we continue to live under the cruelty of AKP-MHP fascism? We believe that the peoples of Turkey will be in favor of democracy, rights, liberties, and human rights.

That’s why we say: the only way is the Green Left party. And I say that all the peoples of Turkey, whether they live abroad or in the country, no matter where they live,  should vote for the Green Left Party."
