Azadiya Welat daily workers Mehmet Erçik and Hediye Özbay were taken into custody in the southern province of Adana on Monday.

Two workers of the Kurdish newspaper were detained by police as they were leaving their office in the district of Seyhan in the evening. The reason for detentions hasn't been disclosed yet. Erçik and Özbay were reportedly taken to Adana Police Headquarters.
