Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani on Tuesday met a delegation of the Democratic Society Congress (DTK) and Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) in Ankara. PM Barzani said his government is welcoming the steps taken in Turkey towards peace and added: "We support Öcalan's letter totally."

The Democratic Society Congress (DTK) co-chairs Aysel Tuğluk and Ahmet Türk and Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) co-chairs Selahattin Demirtaş and Gültan Kışanak, BDP deputies Sırrı Sakık and Leyla Zana, were at the meeting as well as KRG Deputy PM İmad Ahmet, Kurdistan Democracy Party (KDP) Turkey former representative and KRG Education Minister Sefin Dezai, YNK Ankara Representative Bahroz Galali and Fuat Hüseyin.
Barzani arrived in Ankara on Monday to have a series of talks following the ceasefire called by Kurdish Communities Union (KCK) on 23 March.
