The BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) published today a press release in which it "strongly denounce" the attack on right to life brought by the bomb in Ankara and the attack in Siirt yesterday. Co-Chairs Selahattin Demirtas and Gultan Kisanak said "we strongly denounce these attacks on the right to life". They asked that the responsible been "exposed, and as soon as possible".
The party extended their condolences to the families of the victims.
At the same time the BDP rises some doubts as to the attitude and comments by the institutions, in particular by Interior Minister Idris Naim Sahin which shown "contradictory statements and a language not appropriate to the gravity of the situation".
BDP ended their statement by stating once more their commitment to work for a peaceful solution to the Kurdish question.
