Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş has been hospitalized in Diyarbakır on Monday after suffering from tightness and pain in chest since late Sunday.

Releasing a written statement on Monday, BDP central office said that Demirtaş is in good condition but needs to stay in the hospital for a day for medical examinations.
