The Peace and Democracy Party (Barış ve Demokrasi Partisi or BDP) has issued a statement strongly condemning the terrorist attack during the Boston Marathon on 15th April 2013. "Our condolences and prayers - the statement signed by co-chairs Demirtaş and Kışanak says -  are with the victims and their families. We share the tragedy with the American People and the U.S. Government".
