BDP Justice spokesperson deputy Meral Danış Beştaş condemned police aggression against protesters in Gezi Park and asked everyone to express solidarity with the people there.

The BDP underlined that the policy of the AKP government is one of destroying nature by puttin profit and economic interests first. Beştaş reminded that BDP Istanbul deputy Sırrı Süreyya Önder and journalist Ahmet Şık are among the many wounded by police.
