Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan has sent letters to Europe and Kandil through the Peace and Democracy Party (BDP).

Following the most recent meeting BDP group deputy chairs Pervin Buldan and İdris Baluken, and HDP co-chair in charge of negotiations and resolution process, Sırrı Süreyya Önder, made in Imralı on 7 December, it had been stated that the Kurdish leader was going to send letters to Europe and Kandil.

The letters have been conveyed to the BDP and then delivered to the addresses through party officials. The letters are said to be 20 pages long.
