BDP Youth Assembly members arrested in Amed

Three members of the BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) Urfa Youth Assembly have been arrested in the main Kurdish city of Amed/Diyarbakır on Friday.

Two members of the BDP Urfa Youth Assembly, Hikmet Yaygın and Leşker Akman, and BDP Party Assembly member and Central Youth Assembly member Kutbettin Saltan, were taken into custody in Urfa and taken to Amed on Wednesday.

Three activists were remanded in custody and sent to Diyarbakır D Type prison for allegedly being members of YDG-H (Movement of Patriot and Revolutionary Youth) and KCK (Kurdistan Communities Union) and providing members to the organizations.
