Berlin: Three-day march to protest Ocalan’s isolation

The demonstrators during the march will raise knowledge about the isolation of Abdullah Ocalan, and the Kurdish activists on hunger strike.

A three-day march was launched in the German city of Berlin to protest the isolation of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan. 

The march is taking place every year in February; this year a general message will be issued against the isolation. The marchers also support the hunger strike campaign led by HDP MP Leyla Guven.

Kurdish community in Berlin gathered in front of the Damm Church, delivered speeches and then started to march towards Schöneberg through Charlottenburg yesterday.

The march was be followed by a meeting in Berlin’s Neukolln district Saturday evening.

The activists will march through Charlootenburg, Schonenberg, Kreuzberg, Alt Tegel, Wedding and Mitte.

The second stage of the march will kick off from U Bahn Alt Tegel today.
