Activists joined the protests against the Turkish occupation of Northern and Eastern Syria organised in Biel and St Gallen in Switzerland.

BIEL

As part of the RiseUp4Rojava campaign, Defend Rojava activists gathered in front of the central train station in Biel to protest the occupation attacks of Rojava carried out by Turkey.

Biel Climate Strike Platform, Switzerland Women's Strike Collective CDK Biel, Tewgar Ciwanên Şoreş activists joined the action protesting against Switzerland institutions financing Turkey.

During the march, activists chanted slogans in German and French against the occupation and massacres and ended up in a rally in Centralplatz.

After listening to a message sent by an internationalist fighter in Rojava, the action ended with a call to join the protest to be organised today, World Day of Action for Rojava, in Basel.

ST GALLEN

In the city of St Gallen, Kurds and their friends gathered in St Leonard Park area to protest the attacks of Rojava ordered by Erdogan.

Activists called on the Swiss state to stop arms sales to the Turkish state.
