A blast bomb attack targeted the 10 Nisan Police Department in Baðlar district of Diyarbakýr province last night.
The attack was reportedly carried out by a group of masked people who reportedly fled the scene soon after the explosion. No injuries or deaths reported in the blast.
On the other hand, it has been asserted that an officer of Kulp Governors Office was taken into custody late last night in Diyarbakýr.
Officer Ubeydullah Sancar is said to have been detained at his house in the village of Uygur by a group of HPG (Peoples Defense Forces) guerrillas. Following the detention operation, the guerrilla group reportedly left the village in a car which was later set on fire and left near another village.
A wide-scale operation was launched in the area after the incident.
