There is a real bread crisis in Qamishli due to a lack of fuel oil and the continuing power cuts. According to sources in the city, the Local Council of the city had organized the distribution of bread which created an atmosphere of satisfaction among central sectors of citizens who have expressed their happiness with such endeavours.

The Local Council continues its activities to reduce this crisis, where observers is saying that frequent interruption of the power supply in the region and the lack of other materials of flour and fuel oil as well as the exploitation of some people for these conditions are making the bread Crisis. And this is what constraining the workflow of bakeries and their ability to produce the required quantity for masses.
