In the Italian city of Brescia a demonstration has taken place to protest against the Turkish threats.

Activists reminded that on Friday "Syrian troops have reached Manbij, liberated by the Syrian Democratic Forces in August 2016." The Syrian troops have entered Manbij following a statement by the YPG demanding Damascus to protect Syrian borders.

Yet activists warned of the danger of a new occupation attempt by Turkey.

The activists in Brescia met in Corso Zanardelli to stage an action in solidarity with Kurds in Rojava.
