Raqqa Eagles Brigade Commander Feyad al-Xanim stated that ISIS gangs use civilians as human shields, and the two branches of the Wrath of Euphrates Initiative would soon unite near Belîx River.
Raqqa Eagles Brigade Commander Feyad al-Xanim spoke to ANHA News Agency and stated that their priority was saving the lives of civilians in Raqqa because ISIS gangs are using them as human shields.
Al-Xanim stated that ISIS gangs have been receiving heavy blows and are not able to resist SDF, YPG and YPJ fighters. He said ‘This is a sign of ISIS’ defeat on the battlefields, and the morale of SDF, YPG and YPJ fighters has been high.’
Lastly, Raqqa Eagles Brigade Commander Feyad al-Xanim stated that fighters of the Wrath of Euphrates Initiative would soon unite near Belîx River and bring together the two fronts of the operation.
