DTK Co-chair and HDP Hakkari MP Leyla Guven’s hunger strike resistance against the isolation imposed upon Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan is on day 97 today.

Yusuf Iba, who started an indefinite nonalternating hunger strike in support in Toronto, Canada, is accepting visitors with great morale and enthusiasm on day 31 of his protest.

Today, Iba received the family of Canadian YPG fighter John Robert Gallagher (Gabar Rojava) who was martyred in 2015.

The family visited Iba at the Toronto Kurdish Popular Center and gifted Iba a necklace with the martyr’s photograph in it.
