40 tonnes of food aid has been sent to Rojava within the scope of the campaign initiated by the Çınar Municipality and the DBP (party of democratic regions).

While the campaign, which is running for an indefinite period of time, continues, 3 trucks containing food such as pulses and cereals, cleaning materials, nappies, oil and sugar have been sent to the Mürşidpınar border gate.

A member of the municipal assembly of the DBP-run Çınar municipality, Sedat Ay, stated that they had received a lot of aid, especially from the villages, and thanked the people who had joined the campaign. Ay said: “the campaign doesn’t have a specific time scale. Our aid will continue without interruption. Protecting Rojava is to protect the honour of humanity.”
