The operation to liberate Raqqa continues on day 65. Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) fighters continue their advance in the eastern and western fronts. The siege of the gangs is tightening.

In clashes last night in the Nazlat Shehade neighborhood to the south of Raqqa, at least 7 gang members have been killed and 2 were captured alive.

In still ongoing clashes in the Rawda neighborhood to the east of the city, 2 gang members were killed. In clashes in the al-Barid neighborhood to the west of the city, 3 gang members were killed.

There are intermittent clashes in the Old Town Raqqa neighborhood to the east of the city. There is no clear information on the outcome of these yet.

The SDF fighters in the eastern and western fronts are reportedly getting very close to each other as the circle tightens on the gangs.
