Civil disobedience in Amnesty International Switzerland

Kurdish youth and mothers launched a sit-in at the Amnesty International Switzerland chapter to draw attention to the hunger strikes.

Kurdish youth and mothers launched a civil disobedience demonstration in the Amnesty International (AI) Switzerland offices in Bern to draw attention to the ongoing hunger strikes led by DTK Co-chair and HDP Hakkari MP Leyla Guven that continue in various centers beyond the critical stage.

A group from among the activists have met with AI officials to draw attention to the hunger strikes and to demand that the AI take action in the matter, as another group launched a sit-in in the chapter offices.

Activists chanted slogans and carried signs about the hunger strikes and the isolation and are demanding that Amnesty International take action.
