48-year-old Ehmed Mihemed İsmail lost his life in the attacks launched by ISIS gangs on Kobanê town of West Kurdistan, Rojava.

İsmail, father of six, was seriously wounded as ISIS continued attacks with heavy weaponry targeting the west side of the town yesterday.

The man from the village of Xurxurê in Kobanê lost his life despite all the efforts made at hospital he was rushed to after the incident in the afternoon. He was laid to rest in the evening.

ISIS gangs have increased their attacks on the town centre and civilian areas in Tal Shair region after suffering heavy blows in the battle with YPG/YPJ fighters in recent days.

Mortar attacks of the ISIS groups on Tal Shair and civilian-inhabited areas in town centre left four civilians, including children, dead and 16 others wounded four days ago.
